The series starts off slooooooooow and basically attempts that mysterious shadowy past approach… And fails for the most part. Basically uninteresting, however the last five episodes did finally spark my attention- in which ended the series only to be discontinued in Japan. Years later, they decided to make a second series for American fans, and I hear they failed at that too. Somehow this big mecha series with a one-dimensional character proved uninteresting.
