Yuki Cross is the adopted daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, a school consisting of the Day and Night Class. The Night Class is attended by the vampire race and led by Kaname, a vampire with an infatuation with Yuki. Zero Kiryu, a childhood friend of Yuki is determined to protect her from Kaname, who fuels his hate for vampires. However something draws Yuki to Kaname – a distant memory of her past and the night she was attacked by a vampire…
Clearly Shoujo is about the bishounens and love triangles. This has all that and the usual nonsensical story-line. It’s a great fairy tale for girls to gush over, but nothing more. I’d only recommend this show to people who love mushy, cutesy love stories. This has all that and vampires – a popular formula nowadays.
